Real Life, Schmeal Life...I wish I were a WAG.

So I'm pretty sure I'm going to get fired, if that happens I won't have anywhere to live and me and my dog Oliver will have to go home to Lompoc where I haven't lived in over 10 years. Needless to say, I wish I had a different life right now.

I'm currently drinking a Strongbow, watching bad tv. I can't even watch football. It makes me sad. Don't ask why...I don't know.

What are my choices in regards to a career? I'm feeling a little like Bridget Jones except she quit and was at least having hot sex with Hugh Grant. I am 33 going on 34, I am, as I said, most likely going to be fired and I am NOT having sex with anyone, least of all Hugh Grant like guys.

My sister thinks I should talk to my boss but I think, at this point, it's almost useless. It seems like her mind is already made up. The other night I had such a terrible dream where I was going to get fired and she was so 'hateful' about it and I just wanted to talk to her but she wouldn't even speak to me. I actually woke up relieved it was only a dream but now that I think about it...it currently represents my life at work.

I don't take my dreams lightly. Let me just say that I have bizarre dreams. I do. It's a known fact but I had a dream that predicted Man Utd winning the Champions Leaugue. Down to Giggs, wrapped in the Welsh flag, holding a trophy with red ribbons around it. It was eery and my Chelsea friend hated me but it's true. Regardless, I have to sort of trust my dreams right?

So I wonder if that means my sex dream of Kevin Davies will come true!!!! PRETTY PLEASE!!!

Cheers,
Steph

We lost to Chelsea but what else is new?

Ok, before I even get started let's just talk about how there is a new reality show called "Mama's Boy". Really? Really! Boys who can't choose a woman and they have to their mothers' help. Look, I don't judge, I watch the Hills, I've watched Rock of Love and Charm School and stuff but I have to draw the line at grown men who have to have their mamas' when choosing a lady friend...

Moving on, Bolton lost at home to Chelsea but it was only 0-2...thank G*d it was only by two. It could have been worse; it could have been by 6 and it wouldn't have been the first time. The match was on Setanta so I could only catch a little of it while I was getting ready for work and I was pretty impressed with the little bit of pressure we put on the Petr guy. Just wished we could have scored. I refuse to discuss the goals that were scored against us. Not really news worthy...whatever. I'm only slightly bitter because at least Arsenal won, Liverpool won and YES! Vidic scored the one and only goal to win the match for Utd!! So basically, the top of the table remains the same and blessed be West Ham lost to Tottenham so that means that Bolton are sitting in an ok spot.

We only have to win against Aston Villa who just happpened to pull only one of the most awesome wins EVER against Everton on Sunday! That was crazy! I think we can handle it....right? lol

PS. If anyone out there know's who Robert Pattinson supports...please share. He may not even support a club but we just want to know in case he does or did.

Thanks,
Steph

My Super Spectacular Football Saturday!!!

So here it is, my good buddy Poul is in California and I extended an invitation for him to come and kick it with me and my dog Oliver. Perfect timing!! Arsenal v Man Utd match was on Setanta Broadband at 4:40am and then Bolton at Hull City was on righ after at 7am.

Arsenal won. Boo. When it comes to the top 4 teams, I prefer the northern lads. Man Utd just didn't perform and that Nasri kid from Arsenal was on top of it. Two great goals from him!

Bolton and Hull City. When I least expected it, Matthew Taylor scored the winning and only goal for Bolton. Sigh! Two wins in a row. Enough to bump us up to 11th place right now. I don't remember the last time we were that high up on the table.

I still feel that Bolton should be performing better than they are and I really hope that Megson and get a couple of good signings during the winter transfer window but being that we have no money, I say our chances are slim. Damn Gartside!

Then to make my day even more great...the mighty All Blacks killed Scotland on the first test of their European Tour. Richard Kahui scored an awesome try which pretty much secured their win. It was great! I have to say.

Sigh. Don't you just love sports?

Bizarre Dreams

It is just a scientific fact that I have seriously bizarre dreams and last nights/morning is no exception. Several things happened but the most bizarre part of it was I was in some European country between Vienna (which I know isn't a country) and France. It was very coastal but like glamorous coastal, like Cannes or something. And there was some wedding on the beach but all very touristy as well. I was walking around this beautiful little village and I realized that I had my camera in my purse but wasn't taken any pictures. Then I saw the beach and it was sunset so I started walking in the direction. There wa a sort of field before you hit the sand dunes and people were tripping and kept looking down where they were walking. So I walked over there and I noticed that everywhere I stepped, it looked like little fireworks were going off in the sky from under my feet. The only way to describe it correctly is if you know what a firework looks like when it pops and fizzles in the sky then you'll understand that is what I saw when I stepped on the ground. It was like the ground got dark and you were walking on the sky and saw a light show. it's crazy but it was cool.

Then I lost everyone I was with and started following a man who was staying in the same hotel I was in. I didn't want to call my friends and bother then for some reason so I started following a stranger. That can't be smart. lol

Introducing Oliver

So here is my new roommate Oliver. He's a Yorkshire Terrier. He's 5 months and he's a bit...of work but I adore him. We are working on potty training. it's a bit of a challege but I have a feeling we'll succeed!!

Redknapped by the Spurs...Damn it!!

So I knew it! I freaking KNEW IT!!! First of all, I had this feeling, even prior to the knowledge that Harry took over, that we, Bolton, may lose or draw with the Spurs because there has been nothing but talk about how crappy a start the Spurs have had and I just knew that of all the clubs in the Premier League, it was going to be Bolton that would break that deadlock.

Needless to say, I was disappointed. But at least Chelsea lost...at home....to Liverpool! I guess I could be thank for small favors.

:sigh:

It Must Be My Week!!

After, what seemed like, a week that would never end, the weekend finally came. Not only did my LA Dodgers sweep the Cubs, moving them on to the National League Championships, but my Bolton played in London on Sunday and beat West Ham Utd. Oh, Bless em!!

Kevin Davies scored a great goal in the 30-somethingeth minute after Rob Green dropped the ball. Thank God for small errors! That's what helped the Dodgers this week too. Then Gary Cahill scored a goal off of another Rob Green error. Carlton Cole gave Utd their one goal but Matty Taylor secured the win with a fabulous goal from a free kick. That was something of beauty. I'd love to see Kevin Davies score a goal like that!! Although I missed the match because it wasn't aired live, I was happy for the win. My brave lads needed a boost like that.

sigh. another great weekend in the world of sports for me.

So here is something I find interesting....

So it seems that Dan Carter is off to France this week to start with his "new club" and they are calling it a "sabatical" because the All Blacks can't affored to lose them some Dan Carter. Granted, they have, probably, the best team in the world when it comes to Rugby Union but the NZRU have a rule that in order to play for your nation you must pay IN your nation. And that brings me to football.

Do you think they have this rule because it's like constant training for the next international match? If that's the rule then I respect that. I think that's an awesome rule because look at that team!! They are insane and they defeat, they kick ass and takes names later. I usually go for the underdogs but after watching New Zealand union club matches, like the Crusaders and the Chiefs and then started watching the All Blacks play and it's undeniable; they sort rock the cock off of any other country when it comes to Ruby Union.

And they are probably have the hottest guys on that national team ever! New Zealand huh....I need to head on over there and check out that seen. The flight's only a thousand hours but it sounds like it would be worth it.

International, Schmationals

So England played Andorra on Saturday and Joe Cole scored by winning goals. *yawn, snore* It's known among my friends that I am not a Joe Cole fan. I dont' dislike him, much but I don't enjoy watching him play...and I don't like Chelsea. But from what I saw of that match, which was like only the last 20 minutes, I wasn't impressed. Which leads me to the question of, "What is up with the England National Team?" I don't understand, why with the leval of talent that team has, why do they struggle against countries like Andorra. I mean, honesty, 0-2 win isn't so much a struggle but with the level of talent, shouldn't they have killed them something like 0-4? And with tomorrow's match against Croatia...I am thinking that Croatia may take them. I haven't been too into international friendlies or qualifies as of late. Kinda bored with them. I am very much looking forward to this weekend Premier League return.

That is something worth watching!! Bolton, my club of choice, are up against Fulham and that should be a good little match. I don't know who else is up. OOOh, I think Arsenal visit Liverpool or vice versa. Either way...exciting stuff!!
