Dreaming in 360

Another doozy of a dream on Thursday morning. Late me preface by saying that dreams in my head is kinda like channel surfing. My brain just goes in and out like changing the channel. So from what I can remember of this dream, I was on a plane with my parents and the seats were like small sofas, very comfy for flying and Anderson Cooper was sitting in front of me, right next to my mom. He was standing up turned around facing me stuffing his backback with his laptop and papers and whatever reporters use and he said to me, "You just have to know everything, don't you? You're THAT girl who has to KNOW everything about everything." And I responded, "Yes! I know; it's terrible right? It's a bad habit and I've been working on it but I just have to know!"

I'm sitting in my sofa/seat and a hand from behind me plops a journal in my lap. You know, one of those composition books. I open it up and it's a journal with photos of a young Anderson Cooper in it.

It was the first of many journals he, apparently, in my dream, wrote when he first started his war cooresponding. I was so excited. He smiled and told me to let him know when I was done because he had more waiting. I told him, "I knew there was more to your story! I knew you had more to say!"

Is that not one of the most silly little dreams you've ever heard? And that's what I get for watching AC 360 before I go to sleep at night. On second thought, maybe I should watch more!

A Day at the Mission

So last week I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with my goddaughters, Gwyn and Emma and my cousin Xenia. Gwyn was doing a project on our California missions and had, earlier that day, participated in an oral assignment with her class speaking about how our missions came about. So Xenia decided to take the girls for a little field trip of her own to our local mission, La Purisima.

We ran into our friend Steve who has been working for the mission for the past 4 years and he gave us an amazing tour when he was suppose to be off of work. Bless him. So here are some of our adventures from this fun afternoon!
